Actually, the one you mention as the "sedan" is the Coupe AE86, as its more common to call "sedans" the 4door cars. So, Coupe is the 2door AE86.

The 3door AE86 is what we call the Liftback AE86, as when the trunk opens as one with the glass it's considered to be a door. So, that's the liftback AE86.
