Get it fitted and tell me exactly what it feels like..You had an open diff earlier right? Not the VLSD..Always contemplated the swap but never had the chance to go through with it. Might be buying a new miata as new dutch MOT regulations no longer require a "cylinder" count

nmwisima

dutch law status you are allowed to tune your car as much as you want, increase displacement, put turbo's on, whatever you like, aslong as you keep the number of pistons/cylinders the same.

guess they lifted that restriction finallyBig Grin

Just have to convince them that the horsepower has stayed similar to original levels (max 40% increase).

Humz: Standard Rover/Buick v8 : 134bhp @ 5000rpm 187lb ft @ 2500rpm 1986-xx: Range Rover

Nowhere nere a 40% increase...but possibilities run all the way up to 8500rpm and 300+ hp..all the time sounding like something straight out of a powerboat...Same weight as the original miata engine.

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear
