Hey bitches!

Finally!

Bought this from UK, cleaned that brit rust, painted it, put the protective foam back then covered it with tape.

It took me 3 weeks to convience Mark to send to Greece, two weeks for the courrier to do its bussines, two months to clean and paint and another month waiting in the balkony.

Today, under rain, we worked with a friend (jason, the one in the pics doing all the hard stuff), most of the time pooring water, very very annoying, but its in.

So, I have no final pics and those I have arent great, but please tolerate me.

yeah, i really hope that works. NoHachi had a couple of things to say about such cages. I'm pretty sure this is much better than those individual bars, tho.

And lucky that you have black hair, that head cushin paint job you have been talking about is showing its age. Jsut a price to pay to be tr00 JDM Big Grin

NoHachi? He can talk??? Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

I m eager to listen to him.

Its an old design he ll say, the newest hardogs are far better.
That is true. They cost double the money though.

The headrests... yeahh... they look fine.
Maybe I ll change seats...

Ola crazy greek,

Yes the harddog ones are better..Tongue Mostly because they have welded connections between the diagonals and the main hoop. Right now, if you roll the car, all the forces will rest on the two bolts connecting the pieces. I would suggest that you take a good look at them. While you're at it..take a good look at the mounting plates. Sometimes they are a bit flimsy and the pipes puch right through them in a crash.

That said: sometimes something is better then nothing..certainly in a miata. At least the design is triangulated and has rear diagonals. You can always have a local fabricator add some features in the future if you decide to get serious about racing.

PS: add a low pressure turbo to that machine of yours and you have the potential to do low 8min laps on the nordschleiffe and hunt down GT3s. Its really amazing how crazy fast a miata can be with 3000-4000euro's worth in mods (2000 if you buy secondhand).

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

Two bolts. Yeah, I know.
Plates are all fine, I removed surface rust and checked em myself.

Must find a job before the turbo comes mate.
