I put valvoline 10w60 in my non crossflow 8v 1982 datsun. Before the change it ran on 10w40. Since the change i've had no oil consumption and i know it gets better lube when cold. It says synthetic oil but its a semi one. Any synthetic or semi is better than mineral.
I think the most important thing when it comes to oils is to makes sure there is enough in the engine and as ivan said to change it once year/1000-1500km. Philip |
