hi everyone,
it's my first post here. My name is Aleksey. I am from Vladivostok Russia, and I have taa63 1984 GT-R, with 4a-ge 16v engine. car imported from Japan in '92. JDM version.

Small update from my side, the tinworm ate through my inner fenders:

It was only a tiny hole so I wasn't that alarmed...

But actually this is what it looked like after the anglegrinder attack:

And that is only one of the sides...

On the positive side: this is the only rust I could find on the whole floorpan, so if this is fixed the whole floorpan is rustfree.

I want to keep stock. swap 4age 20v , and swap front suspension from sylvia 13 (240sx) and bodypaint.

Hey guys...

I really really really need to find some bits of trim for my carina and havent had any luck after searching for a long time.

willing to pay some decent money and ship from anywhere, if anyone knows of some that are in good condition... I need the lower outer rear window trim pieces, that go along the bottom edge of the rear triangle windows... As per what's missing in this pic:



(Not talking about the bump strips along side the doors)

If anyone knows of anything, or sees something pop up somewhere please let me know!

I think there's a sickness in both of us Roman.

I also now own two Carina's. One is a diesel and possibly the slowest car on the planet. I bought it from Dunedin (1500kms away), flew the mrs and myself down, then drove back.

It's parts the the Surf basically. I'm torn though, I don't know whether to swap to the twin headlight front or not.








Opinions?

I like the original front, I like the twin heady front. I like the idea of the car staying fairly standard outside (bar fender mirrors), I like the carina firevan.
