Project from Denmark
Time for a new update on this project Hurray!

Working on the right rear inner wheel arch, a lot of rust behind the reinforcement plate.

Cut out the rotten part, making ready for some new metal.

After a bit of work, its repaired. Dodgy

Since my last update, I have been collecting parts for my car, and one of them is brand new Left Rear Quarter panel Tongue

Nice repair, better than new! Big Grin

Did you got the panel from your Toyota dealer?

No, searching the local market and AE86 owners for these body panels, hard to find and expensive to... They are all discontinued at Toyota. Confused

Cuts from old shells are the only way to find parts these days.

That's a good finding, that's for sure!

I was wondering if it was OEM or maybe a reproduction part like the Wolf Steel one. But I've just seen that Wolf Steel doesn't manufacture the whole panel. And although I don't know about its quality, I doubt it's the same than OEM.

Know one who used Wolf Steel panels for his car, they fit okay, but not like the OEM, but they are better then nothing.

A bit more work has been done. Dodgy

This time it wont be that many pictures, forgot to take pictures of the work, but I have put in a new boot floor. Luckily I found a used boot floor in almost perfect condition, so used that instead of the NEW boot floor I had, sold that for 900 Euro Tongue

This was the only rust the used boot floor had.

After a bit of welding and grinding, the car has a boot floor again Hurray!

Took some time to get the boot floor fitted and welded back in, also cleaned the beam beneath the boot floor, before I welded the boot. Cool

Then I am glad that I am not working on your car, think this one has enough rust for me Tongue
