But the 86 isn't only good for Touge...! It drifts great too and with Gareth being a Petrol Head, it would be rude not to take a day out to go drifting at Nikko circuit.

Love drifting the length of camber at the edge of the track here..
Using the camber helps set the car up to enter the chicane which leads onto the main straight...
That leads to a full bore 3rd gear feint entry into the main corner, with a bit of camber to help you throw the back end in Tongue
Nikko's amongst many people's favourite drift circuits here for these reasons.

I wouldn't say hostile at all. In a large event, like a drift Matsiru mostly people just get on with their day and are courteous or perhaps even shy.
Sometimes they'll come up and look at your car, chat, etc. We've made a few friends on the track over the years like that.
When something goes wrong, they're usually very willing to help (Like Tec Arts changing Mosqiton's clutch at the circuit..after he made it disintegrate! Angry ). Helps if you speak Japanese though..

There isn't any naked racism towards foreigners, or competitive jealousy. Japanese are typically humble by nature.
People like to see others have fun here I guess...Regardless of where you come from.
Sometimes when you're drifting, they'll go sit on the wall and wave their fists in encouragement Thumbs up!
