Thanks for the heads up Banpei Thumbs up!

Wish someone would take a pic of the wheel high up in the air when the rear's on the cambered bank... I'm pretty sure it gets higher...

A friend was telling me it was hard to shoot though, as often other cars are right in the way of the cameras.. Oh well, there will be other times Smile

Our staff member Dai Chan was testing his Panda Trueno for the first time with the new black top 20V he's recently finished installing.. Car was going well. Having previously drifted with a standard 4AGE engine, he's a master of using the handbrake to chuck it in early...with the new added benefit of having power too... This week he's talking about fitting some wild cams to it.... Evil - Good man!

Mosqiton drove there with his wife & new baby - had a great time, improving rapidly considering this was only his 3rd day drifting on a track. He was saying the new pillow ball control arms we've specially commissioned made a massive difference to the control of the rear at speed - Much easier to feel what the car's doing and enter a slide. We'll all soon have them fitted, just waiting for a special batch to be delivered. I'll post some pics of them later... The quality makes other stuff look puny Big Grin

The red Run Free car belongs to Mosqiton on this forum. He's an Aussie who goes by the name of Allen. He used to work with us at Newera - and still does part time, but now mostly works at Tomei Power for his sins Cool

Here's a few high res pics of his car:

And the couple of high res pics I was given by a friend who'd arrived from Sweden that day - borrowed a car & driven 2 hours to the track to join us, then accompanied us home again... Good way to kick start his holiday, lol.

We've had a batch of these lower tie rods and lateral rod specially commissioned for our car and a few others here in Japan and have just one set remaining...!

These are VERY heavy duty. The larger pillow ball bearings are much more resistant to wear than smaller ones from elsewhere, since they will spread loads more evenly. Construction is all stainless steel too and the welding is perfect as it's done by robots. With these fitted, the rear end becomes much more finely controllable for sliding. Note that by increasing the length of lower rods, this decreases grip also. Note we haven't made upper ones, as that's where noise usually comes from when fitting a full set.

They've been developed to special design by an MSC and D1 Street Legal AE86 racer in Japan just for us.... Now just one set left! We might get some more made if there's serious interest...

If you guys want some top quality metal parts and have a design, let us know. We can get them commissioned here in Japan.

Thanks for the compliments Stalker. I'm thinking of lightening it a bit now and as I don't go drifting in the summer any more (too hot for oil temps & too hot for me!) the A/C will soon be removed and a few other things taken off too.

They're Boudo Nouki front & Jubride rear - sourced by us - Neweraparts.com
