OK done some research again and apparently there was a trd lsd for the S series, but it's extremely rare and from my 2 hours of searching apparently impossible to find.

I'd say that your best bet is to get another axle then a AE86 one. What RWD cars with live axles do you have down there?

In that case I would recommend that you modify a Hilux axle to fit, or any other solid axle that's about the same width as a AE86 one and with a 7-7.5" crown. Getting a AE86 axle in your case sounds like it's more hassle then it's worth.
