Good luck guys!

Sorry Mux, I haven't got a sollution for the carpet yet. First I will do all the seats and then I'll give the carpet a try.
I did found a website on the internet at work, where you can buy new ae86 carpets. I'll try to find the url tomorrow.

Tomorrow I'm also gonna make some pics of the chair when it's completly dry and for fun I'll make one standing besides my dirty chair Big Grin

Just rip off the seats skin and throw it in the washer, it cant be done easier (or cheaper):

Knudsen, how could you dismantle the seat like that?! Do you have some more pics? I DO believe this is the best way, but I dont believe I will be able to put the seat togetherSmile.

The "skin" is kept together with alot of small metalrings. Those rings can be bent out, so the "skin" can be peeled of. Pretty easy.
You can either use the rings again, or like i did, replace them with zip-ties.
I havent got any pictures of the proces.

I havent got any pictures of the proces.

I also tried it exactly the same way, replacing the rings with zipties:

I washed the seat-skin two times but they turned out to be still dirtier than my current seats.Big Grin
BTW: this pic was only after vacum cleaning one of them. Wink

And since getting all rings loose and replacing them with zipties takes a long time to do I think I'd better go for the DJexor way. Smile

Hmm... i dont think i want to know how slow you work Banpei
It took me less than 10 minutes to dismantle both the seats, 4 beers to wait for the washingmachine to get done and app. 10 minutes a seat to put back together again.

Thats about half an hours work and the car smells like new afterwards, and look far better than if you rub the dirt even more into the seat Evil

See it from the bright side Tongue If I had drink beer during the washing project I would have been drunk! Evil

oke I finished my second seat! It's still a bit wet, but see the difference compare to the previous pic Big Grin
