How important are dowell pins on a 4age block
I seem to have forgotten to replace mine before i have installed my head after the block was skimmed and im just wondering if they are essential for the 4age, thanks

How important are dowell pins on a 4age block
Not ideal, but not essential. How did you locate the head without the dowels? Just put it on and bolt it down?
