Greetings from Tn!
Hi everyone. I'm new here, and making a return to Toyotas in general. I've had a few 22R powered rides in the past. I'm mainly a GM V8 guy, but I like to play with the little cars some, too. My wife is a Honda lover, but I love her anyway.
I went back with Toyotas for a few reasons. I've loved the rear drive Toys since high school. One of my good friends had/has a 79 Celica GT that his mom bought new. I've liked it since we met, and we've gotten nostalgic with it, so I had to pick up something, too. I didn't want a Celica, so it was either a gen 2 Supra (84-8My Toy is an '86 SR5 coupe. It's pretty unmolested and rust free. It, unfortunately doesn't run, yet. I'm planning a motor swap and to convert it to a 5 speed. I've already picked up a blue top 4AGE, 5 spd,, and a disc brake rear end, as well as a slew of other parts. I'm sure I'll pester you all with lots of noob questions and stupid ideas. Thanks for having me, and looking forward to contributing! |
