GZE wiring fault
Hi guys,
my issue is with the black 2 pin connector next to the battery. This provides +12v on both pins when ignition on, and 0v when ignition off One pin provides power to the ECU, unsure on what the other one is for. I have wired up my injectors to this line. So they turn on at the right time. My problem is when I turn ignition off, the engine still runs, even though I have measured this plug at 0v When I disconnect the connector, the engine stops running. If I disconnect the battery in this state the engine carries on running! I believe this is because the alternator provides power to the power line still, but I don't see how it has a full circuit connection to the negative side of the battery when I disconnect that. So what have I done wrong? |
