Trueno - Headlight Rods
Just replace the stock rod with two threadend rods at the end and an adjusting nut in between, so you can exactly turn it to the lenght you need.... Thought about that?

With that i can now make mines that same size and if they still wont open, the problem is on the small metal piece that makes the rod move!
