I haven't measured them yet but will do that and post the results next week. I bought them from T3 and there are supposed to be 75mm in height.
About the torn filters, i wonder if there should be some space between the trumpets and the filters... Before installing the T3s I used the stock 20v units (the plastic ones) and they worked without any problem. 1984 Toyota Corolla 4AGE 20v 2007 Subaru Impreza STi |

New parts have arrived today, regarding the rebuild of the 20v silvertop:
1. Arias forged pistons 11:1 2. Pauter chrome/moly rods (both are ordered from Luis from ParadiseRacing.com) Meanwhile i also ordered a brand new OEM 20v silverop crankshaft from the local Toyota service parts dealer. And here is the Quaife quick steering rack kit, ordered from speed-inc (Speed Industries) from our forum: Hope to get the car going during the next month. 1984 Toyota Corolla 4AGE 20v 2007 Subaru Impreza STi |

Actually, while banging the firewall we test-fitted the engine a couple of time to make sure we do not move it too much. In such a case fitting the heater later on would be more complicated (and don't forget to remove it before starting).
