The alloy ones weigh 1.2kg, anyone know what the stock ones weigh? Just trying to work out bang for buck the weight savings Smile

Well, 1.8-1.2 X 2 = 1.2.

600g on each side, considering the fact that these are rotating mass, that's quite a good weight saving yea.

You can save also on brakes (aluminium bell on discs) and on the wheels.
(I love the weight of my TE37 Tongue )

All added, it should be a great improvement on braking distances and on accelerations. Hurray!

PS: I never ad the chance to visit New Zealand (mainly because I spend the very few money I have in my 86...)
but I always wanted to see this side of the world (NZ but also Japan and Australia)

Yeah I have Wilwood brakes up front Smile

I cant get TE37's in the size I need sadly, but that might change with these hubs and the S13 rear end conversion!

I have been to Aussie and Japan as well, I would highly recommend Japan! Or the Aussie outback for some scary fun Smile

Have you take a look on TE37V ? Plenty of sizes and offsets for our cars.

For the rear end, I'm more for N2 setup (equal length link and/or watt linkage) instead of a conversion.
(N2 hit the 59s mark @ Tsukuba with that kind of setup)

But that's up to you to decide what's best for your hachi
