AE-86 Track/Race car Spoiler/GT Wing Size and shape
Hello every1,
i would like to know your experiance with AE86 Wings or your opinion for mine.
The engine that is mounted on the car is an 20v BlackTop 1.6 with 120whp dyno resault.
The spoiler that i have is a GT Wing made for skyline. The car is clearly ans only used for grip racing and NOT for drifting!!!
Also please dont mind for the broken exhaust.
Please take in consideration the track shape and size. The track shape that we use, is the red, on the bottom left corner. 2.2km long

Hope the link works, my friend does hillclimbs https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/h...JpIjoidCJ9
No rear stabiliser bar and gets good traction on slicks ~240mm
Most Wings won't do you much good under 100kmh anyway

Wing is excessive, also most rear wings use a version of an airplanes wing, but upside down. The angle your wing is at looks to be more of a stall angle (little or no downforce), a properly designed wing tends to work best when it offers the most downforce.

Invert for use on cars.....

Now... as to what I know....... 120whp from a Blacktop is getting tired. A good Blacktop should be well over 130hp, and in many cases over 140whp. If you want quicker lap times its time to rebuild

I have that in mind, mate, that why i meantioned it. I have 120whp with a vp racing fuel. Imagine if i rebuild what the outpout power will be.

You're using a pretty agressive setup. A huge wing but no front splitter? Most people forget aubout a well seized front splitter when they put a wing on their cars.

I would suggest:

and a front splitter/lip similar to the N2 versions.

Not a AE86 but a good example what I mean:

Work in progress Car: AE86

You will need a rear diffuser as well to complete the aero pack. So front splitter, rear diffuser and wing.
