How can I check if I'm running on all 4 cylinders?

pull the spark plug leads one at a time and see if it gets worse on a particular cylinder (when I say one at a time, I mean make sure you have 3 leads connected at all times).
If it's running on 3 cylinders you will notice no difference from pulling the sparkplug lead.

Might just be some bad ignition timing, or any number of things..
