Viscous coupling fans reduce throttle response, so it's a good idea to switch to electric.
They don't work well in reverse direction, so use a PULL type fan. There's enough space in there for 2 smaller fans, which work better too. You can also wire a switch from the dashboard to the electric relay(s), so the fan won't only work when the thermo switch comes on (Mine comes on from 90 Deg C), but permanently whilst the switch is on - this is especially useful for drifting, when you'll be spending quite a lot of time sideways where air isn't flowing well through the radiator, naturally. Also, if you shroud and oil cooler well against the radiator, the fan(s) will help pull air through that too. ![]() VISIT OUR NEW WEBSITES!!!!
