REAR END QUESTIONS
i have a 87 ae86. my rear ind is shot. my posi gave out and it whines real bad. fixing it is not a problem. my question is how do i identify what rear end it is. the car was origanly a sr5. but was converted to a gts. i dont know if the rear end was changed or not. what are the best ways to identifing what rear end it is. i am going to rebuild the posi unit and regear it too. ive got 4 11's in it now and it is way to high. no top end. i just need to know what ring gear i need to get.
