Sorry for not saying so before but my AE86 was a USDM GTS not a SR5.. The Japanese engine I got did not come with any of the VSV or A/C stuff. The ones I have pictures of are ones from my GTS that was removed when the GTS Engine was pulled.. The A/C Idle up ( Right side of the picture ) still has the plug in the engine bay. However the VSV ( Left on the picture ) has no place to plug into now? The plug for it went with the GTS engine harness.. Do I need to rewire something or still contact the person you mentioned above even though I am not using a Sr5?
Also an update on the cranking and firing of the engine.. I have found out its the pickup coils in the distributer and long story sort I am going to need a whole new distributer for other reasons. So when I find one for a 4ageu then that might fix that problem... Im going to try and reg for that forum so I can check that out though. |
