I think it's well worth it, I've seen a 20V with nothing but 304 cams, a proper N2 race manifold, a well mapped Freedom ECU and oil cooler rev all day long at 10000 rpm and it was very quick too (Very, very stripped out car though!). I'd estimate around 180 real bhp from that one.
We're just completing a conversion ourselves, and it's a lot better than the standard engine it had before. Still completing the mapping just now, but I expect around a real 175 bhp on Jap fuel... Black tops are the easiest way to get a power and good weight distribution, but you definitely need some good mapping. Not that quick at all on the standard AE111 ECU's. VISIT OUR NEW WEBSITES!!!!
