you are right in most things,
it will sure make neat car its about peoples what they like or not,but respect the construction of this engine. i personally, dont like so much the rotary sound. About relialibility its fact, its about owners, one can wreck this engine in 30t km another one lasts 200tkm, but thats apllies also for 4age only mileage changes 100 vs 350tkm maybe. I agree with you. Wankel less mechanical parts easy to build up but i am not sure if its also so easy and cheap to buy parts(seals, irons), lets ask Higgi. About the box its longer and bigger than T50, if you want to have the engine at firewall you need to cut the body. Then you still have your shifter to far back. Turboed Rotary dont last as much as piston engine (apex seals) your better with premix(put oil in the gastank)to ensure good lubrication. That cost you your emisions and little bit power. Ok but i am no profi about rotarys, that all i heard from first hand. For track hachi would be my dream: bridge ported NA with 650cfm holley carb N2power for fraction of costs, simple and insane. but nothing for street or everyday use. http://www.86ers.org All the hachies that Daytona can only dream about. |
