I'd like to take my car with me and register it there, does anyone know what the procedure is. How much import duty am I going to have to pay? Also how can I exchange my UK driving licence for a swedish one since i've learnt that i need a swedish licence to register my car.

why register you car here ?

you will only be here for 14 months right - all you have to do during this time is to tae tha car out of Sweden once every year for about 24 hours.

when registering in Sweden you car will need new new hadlights for Rights side driving - & the regisration will cost you about 300 pounds

insurance will be around 3-600 pounds for a year depending on what claims you choose
