blacktop rev limiter issue

Hi all, I recently finished installing my 20v silvertop (with a blacktop ECU) in an SR5. I´m not sure if i´ts wrong but the rev limiter appears to be set around 7500 rpm (using the SR5 tachometer). What´s the stock RPM limit for the blacktop ECU, 8000? I think the tachometer is ok because the idle RPM is around 900. I´ll try using another tachometer but I wanted to find out if it was a known issue. The engine runs fine, it seems quicker than other 4AGs i´ve raced against.
