YES
Or when you are at 100 degrees, adjust the camshaft to obtain maximum lift (the result is the same). Keep in mind that the camshaft will have several degrees of "dwell" at maximum lift (the camshaft will rotate with no change in lift). Try and put the lobe in the centre of this no more lift angle of rotation. There is a more accurate method of setting the cam separation, which involves finding the point of 0.050" opening on each flank, and dividing by two to obtain the centreline.
