Well now... i think everybody only reads what they want to read.
It was said: yes, i was the driver, it was a completely stock 309gti, meaning lousy suspension. Oh one thing you both forgot, it was not my car, and the first time i ever drove in this car. Think about that.

Anyway back ontopic,

The Potenza;s were great tires, I had driven with them, and i liked it's behaviour in dry and wet.
I can also remember a trackday on Zandvoort where i drove just behind Mux all heat long... I believe he also had the RE720, and haven't seen him slide when he attacked every corner at high speed. And for the notice, i was sitting on his bumper that heat, and with an EP71 (72HP) That little white spot behind him


It's a shame the stopped manufacturing the RE720. I thought it was a great tire for it's price. But the T1-R is best bang for the buck. Handles quite good in wet and dry conditions, and heck you can get it in almost every size.
