I'm about to install a mocal thermostatic remote filter setup I got from Think Automotive. They were very good and extremely helpful. You can get some fancy rubber type aeroquip hose from them which does not need swaging and enables simple fitment at home.
The real cost comes with the various threaded fittings you require on top of the cost of the cooler and assorted adaptor plates. I am fitting a straight out adaptor on the block with a remote filter mount installed just behind and low down to the battery tray with a home made alloy bracket to locate it. This remote filter mount then has a thermostatic plate attached to it. Then out to the setrab cooler. Think automotive's website is extremely informative. |
