You've either been living in a box and are very lucky, or you're very smart mate.

Idols or Pop Idols or whatever the name is it goes around the world with is like a talent scout show where people who think they can sing make a complete fool of themselves infront of a jury on national television.

After they've shown you hundreds of misfits that really make you wonder if you want to be part of the human race, a handfull ofpeople that generally can't sing but are supposed to be pleasing to the eye are left over and compete for a record contract.

Offcourse occasionally the person who wins the show does indeed turn out to be someone who appeals to the masses both in singing ability and for looks. But so far only the American and UK versions have produced actual pop stars asfar as I know.

I to Belgium however for making sure a headbanger won their version..
