Well, compression test done, and there are no good news...
1st - 16.5 bar 2nd - 16.0 bar 3rd - 11.0 bar 4th - 11.0 bar This points out two possibilities: 1. Piston rings faulty on cilinders 3 and 4. 2. Head gasket failure between cilinder 3 and 4 and an oil channel. But there are somethings that should be considered: compression values on cilinders 1 and 2 are way too high. Do you find these normal? I think I made a compression test earlier (before skimming another 0,1mm off the head and with another tester) that had 12 bar compression. What failure can cause higher compression than expected? Right now, I'm off to try to see if I have any obstructions in the oil respiration channels that could cause an excess pressure. Only then I'll disassemble the head again to find out what failed. Best regards |
