Well its the end results that counts

My brakes weren't perfect until I did everything either, it seems that if you even get one bit wrong, it just don't work right. Whether its bad rotors, bad pads, old oil, old lines, or simply that you didn't bleed them right.

It also shows you shouldn't take brake work lightly, either do it right, or let a professional do it for you

A bit offtopic but makes me wonder, did anyone ever try those auto bleed valves? the ones where you just open the valve a little pump the brake a few times and close it (so no fiddling with opening, brake, closing release brake kinda bleeding)?
