intake cleaning
you could "engine vac" it, I've yet to come across a shop around me that has one, but apparently you can hook up your intake (not sure about exhaust ports) but they cycle a cleaner through the top end getting rid of carbon buildup. Only heard about this method, no personal experience. I wonder its effect on all sensors involved, possibility of ending up paying more replacing gummed up 20 year old sensors.
But by the hot tank pic, that looks far cleaner and brand new! ![]() |
