k40 to T50 worth the effort?

my K40 allready ate 2 2nd gear synchros, but they broke apart and flew through the box taking the rest with it

I think that it is better to keep your setup as it is because i think it is easier to find a K40 gearbox than a T50.

I found an LSD for sale here and i wonder if it fits my housing in my KE30.What do you think?

If it's a 6" LSD it will fit, but any other won't fit. Unless you swap the complete axle over. So if it's a stock Celica/AE86 diff it won't fit sadly.

I want to be sure before i even start thinking about it, because the custom bellhousing i found is in NZ
It'll cost me quite a lot before i can even begin to look out for a T50
