Hi eldiablo,

press the postreply (don't use the quick reply underneath the thread). You now get a screen for posting a message with more options. Beneath the post there is an area where you can add attachments
Press the browse button and select your picture, then press the add attachement. The attachment should be added.

You can also edit your existing post to add attachments to that post, just press the edit button in the right top of your post.
