Greetings to all!

I'm a 180sx owner thats looking to import a hachi from Japan in the next six months. Thought that I'd better get some research done on the car before I purchase one.

My main concern is reliability, its going to be my daily driver for a few years so I need it to be reliable. What are the AE86's problem points? I'm guessing a clean shell and new bushes would be a good start? Heard that they have trouble with driveaxles? Any trouble with ignition side of things? Any good threads?

I was also thinking of drifting it from time to time so I'll need atleast the suspension and drivetrain to be modded. But I'm worried about legalizing the car in Norway as we have strikt TUV rules about parts etc. I know that Tein are TUV approved, anyone know of any other jap companies are?
