Removing Power Steering from AE86, Need Help, Thanks!!!
Hey everyone!!!
![]() Iam pretty new to this forum, ![]() I got a little problem, the idler bearing seized today. Ripped the PS belt, and I was wondering whats the best and the safest way, make my AE86 with no PS at all. WTF are the two lines going to the EFI body (vaccum lines) from the PS pump??? When I started the car with no PS belt the RPM were going up and down from 1500 to 2000 (as far as I recall). Once the engine warmed up everything was fine. Would the RPM hunting be caused by those two vaccum lines??? I dont care much for creature comforts, I'd rather get rid of it all together if its ok. How do I go about blocking those two lines to the EFI body...??? ![]() Thank you very much for all the help!!!! ![]() |
