Why would the oil pump have problems if you installed an oil cooler?? Almost all 4age powered E8 corolla's have those coolers over here.
If I remember correctly the smallport engines have a better design oil pump that are also more reliable than the older type. I also remember someone mentioning that these are now the standard replacement item, so if you order a new oil pump, you should be pretty safe. I think the oil filter adapter and sump of a 4age with oilcooler are all you need to install it. You could also just make a return plug yourself. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
