You use individual throttles on a turbo engine for the very same reason that u use them on a NA engine: throttle response. + U get to use the nice big plenum as a boost chamber that can store nice pressurised air for you..
And the 8V vs 20V etc argument is also moot. You want the best designed head you can find. It allows you to reach the same hp levels, at lower boost and with worse quality gas. That means you can use a smaller more responsive turbo etc etc..the difference is the same as for NA. A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |
