Money doesn't need to be that much of a factor if you really do all the work yourself. Thats why we have the mills etc in our workshop, there are people producing parts round the clock from december to April..24h a day. Every bit of money left from sponsors is invested in stuff like this..the mills were bought from prizemoney 2 years ago. I built an engine dyno with the powertrain team in my year. It really helps to have these things around and available when you need them.
Anyway, I'll stop talking about it now..pretty difficult, the whole formula SAE thing is just too much fun. A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |
