Hmmm.. thats a first I heard someone say RXs are difficult to learn drifting in.. Well I guess it goes mostly for FCs but Mazda made em with controlling them with throttle in mind. 50:50 weight distribution is more a plus then a minus I'd say. They do have poor steering angles though..
The real problem I would guess with FDs is their great suspention and their unlimited amounts of grip combined with the fact that the 13B turbo setup has no torque in the lower ends and you really need to rev those beasts to break traction in the rear so you really have to do your drifting based on weight shifting, not on power over.
