Aka, the trainman (movie) or Akihabara man (electric district of Tokyo, nerd central)..
Interesting name..real Otaku's more or less loose contact with the real world. Their reasoning being that the world, people and even girlfriends inside the manga/game world are so nice that nothing real will ever come close. Thanks to Akihabara they are slowly coming above ground as a subculture, with their own shopping district (electronics, comics, games, toy collectibles) and even bars and restaurants (with a lot of very weird but cool cosplay places)..Don't know what to think about them though..they might be Man v1.1 and not sure whether I like that particular glimpse of the future.
