BMW specifies a full synthetic for theyre newer LSD's so they either modified the friction plates or they use a new formula of LSD additive.
20vWill, your assumption sounds about right.. synthetic is much stickier so it would maybe leave more slip than is desired. If it doesnt hurt anything I'd like to give it a go once I have a rebuilt rearend. I just want maximum protection for those gears, and synthetic is the best option I think. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
