NoHachi Wrote:Whoa cool! I order you to put better pictures online and at the very least a better description of the process! OK - i'll write a brief description: Already done: 1. Find a S13 rear-end. 2. Remove ot stock rear end and cut all the small details that mess around ![]() 3. Prepare the mounting points - in ae86 such parts are made from 1.5mm iron sheet, however I decided using 2mm for the new ones. Additionally the rear ones have additional internal strengtening structure. Working with 2mm iron sheet is not my favourite, but currently i doubt that there is stronger part in the car. 4. Weld the mounting points - their positioning should be done VERY carefully 5. Mount the rear end. Pending 1. Mount the diff. cooling radiator and pump. Add additional relay for the proper pump operation. 2. Add new brake lines where the original ones where removed 3. make a drive shaft using the front part from toyota and rear part from nissan with a small adapter plate btw them 4. Put coil-overs AE86 GTS '84 Red Top |
