I think it just needs bedding in. Someone else could probably vouch for this better than me but you should do figure of eights for about half an hour then change the oil and it should be fine. Don't take that as gospel though, it's just generally whats done when replacing an LSD and I would figure it would also mean the same for a rebuild.
