in Belgium it's called "autokeuring" meaning "car chekup" is it has to be done every year
new car is after 4 year and after that every 2 year as long as you have less then a 100K & I think Belgium has the worst rules about "tuning" your car every part thats not stock you have to pay an extra 6 euro, example:- lowering springs (groundclearance has to be more than 10cm) 6euro - exhaust ( no more than 90db) 6 euro - bucket seat ,6 euro - race steering wheel,6 euro - stereo with amplifier, 6 euro - bodykit, 6 euro (carbon fibre = FORBIDDEN) - rollcage, 6 euro (welded= FORBIDDEN) - other gearknob ,6 euro & lots of more BULLSHIT think I can go on for 2 pages if I want within 2,5 years then my hachi is a oldtimer & then it will be much cheaper to pay for insurence & for "MOT" only your lights & brakes have to work, but then again it's not allowed to drive in the dark & you have to stay within a 20km radius of your house (exept official meetings) if you don't want that , you'll pay for a full "MOT" & more insurence |
