Hello, sorry to say, but the bellhousings are not interchangeable. The front bearings of a T-series engine g/box are different than of a A-series g/box. Extensionhousings are interchangeable though, but you have to replace the shift fork shafts too (T-series shafts are longer, A-series have short shafts with an additional linkage system)
Output shafts have the same diameter, only the number of splines are different. I know this is true for a TA22 g/box, don't know about differences between TA22 and TA23 boxes. Sorry for this first posts, will introduce myself in the New Members area in a while. I'm planning to fit a 4AGE in a TA22, but i don't want to cutout the shifterfork hole in the floor and change the center console. So i'm going to use the TA22 extension housing on the AE86 g/box. |
