The tires I have in mind are Falken Ziex (ZE-512 for the 185's pr ZE-326(??) for the 175's).

Any input on the tyre sizes and the falken ziex's?

on a 6x14" wheel, you wont get stretch with those sizes.....go for 185/55-14 or 175/60-14, they will fit the hachi well, and still complement some sporty driving. They still wont stretch, but will look good.
I have good experience with the falkens, stick to them.
