No, there has not been a dutch AE86 challenge! There was a Corolla Cup in the 80's, with the TE71 (?). Later on that cup was replaced with a Starlet Cup (the first FWD type). There were some race86's on Zandvoort: As far as I know Mike vd Raadt used to race on in the dutch touringcar championship and later on he sold that car to Rob Nobels. That's the red/white/blue car you saw in the ad posted somewhere else on this forum.
Why motorsports? Because other sports require only one ball! |
