Anyone running 225' tires?

I use semislicks on my trackday volvo...it's VERY nice to have those on a track because you reach cornering speeds that you usually wouldnt attempt on public roads. On the other hand they are noisy, not ideally suited to bad weather conditions and wear out fast. The noisy and bad in the rain/snow bit also applies to huge street tires. Like my brother always used to say: people usually run out of balls before they run out of grip.
I myself use 195/50R15 tires on my hachi for daily driving/auto-x. I'm going to switch to 185/55R14 for the winter..
