I blew my diff
Well it happened today, I blew my diff. Well I wont get into details on how I blew it.
I have found another one for a mere $150 NZD which is not to bad. I went to take my old diff hat out tonight and got one axel out but the one on the left wont because on of the nuts holding it into the brake/diff casing is rounded off. Any ideas on how to get this nut or bolt out. I cant fit a angle grinder in there and cant force a spanner or socket on there. I might bring a cold chisel home from work and try smashing the bolt off. But any ideas would be great Heres a photo: ![]() Sorry about the bad image, its from my cell phone. I once read that you shouldnt believe everything you read. |
